The Bay Area Pop Warner League was chartered by Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., a national non-profit organization, in 2021, Formerly known as Peninsula Pop Warner and we cover the majority of the San Francisco Bay Area. Pop Warner is the only National Youth Sports program which requires its participants to maintain a level of academic achievement in order to participate.

 

Bay Area Pop Warner is volunteer, 501c (3) non-profit organization that provides organized tackle football and cheerleading programs from the ages 6 to 14 years of age, in the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

The League now consists of 16-member associations, which provide the facilities and equipment to run the programs at various parks and high schools within the counties they reside. The mission of Bay Area Pop Warner is to enable local children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a structured and safe environment. Through our associations, Pop Warner programs instill the fundamental values of teamwork, dedication and a positive work ethic both on and off the field of play.
